Dukka, (dukkah) is a blend of toasted seeds, nuts, and spices, often eaten with crusty bread. Ingredients vary, according to variety. Each variety is unique to the different regions of the world.
The dukka originated in Egypt, but we have put our own spin on these varieties.
These spiced nut mixes are exceedingly versatile and can be used in many ways to intensify the flavour of most meals. Or you can be very traditional and grab a loaf of sourdough bread or crusty bread rolls, fill some small bowls with a good quality olive oil, break the bread into pieces, dip into the oil and then into the dukka.
