Mountain Pepper - Leaf - Ground


Mountain Pepper Leaf - ground - Tasmannia lanceolata -

Uses : Can be used in the same way as ground pepper, black or white, but use about half the amount you would use with regular pepper and increase to your own personal taste.

Blends very nicely with wattleseed, bush tomatoes and lemon myrtle.

Bush Tomato & Mountain Pepper dip


2 Tbsp ground bush tomatoes, 1 tsp ground mountain pepper leaf, 300 ml sour cream, 2 Tbsp fresh basil, 4 Tbsp tomato paste, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp crushed garlic, 1 dash tabasco

Blend all the ingredients til mixture is uniform.

Best made day ahead of use so flavours can develop.

Delicious with crackers.
