Ras El Hanout - Spice Girls Blend


Ingredients : paprika, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, fennel, ginger, galangal, cloves, allspice, cardamon, bay leaves, caraway, mace, dill, turmeric, cayenne pepper & pepper. Meaning "top of the shop," in Arabic, because a merchant's best spices would go into this North African spice blend. This spice blend brings out the warmth & depth of dishes, especially when slow cooked.

Uses in Cooking: Traditionally the blend is used in Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian cooking enhancing the flavour of almost any dish with subtle colour & aroma. Particularly good with lamb, fish, chicken, vegetable and rice dishes. Great to use in your tagine or slow cooker.. Combine with a little oil and rub over meat or poultry as a marinade.Add 1 Tbsp to your flour when dusting meat.
