Spearmint Leaf


Spearmint leaves: most commonly used for anti-inflammatory purposes, preventing gum disease, aid in digestion & prevent gas build up.

Preparation: In a small pot bring 1-2 C water & 1-2 Tbsp spearmint to the boil. Simmer 3-5 min. Let tea cool down a few minutes and then drink. Add some honey if you like.

Uses in cooking:
When combined with lamb, peas, fruit salads & new potatoes, it adds a unique flavour.Add some dried leaves to your tea when making iced tea.
